78% of our planet is covered with water, but only a tiny fraction of that is drinkable; and of that drinkable fraction, far less is safe; and of that portion generally considered "safe", how much is really healthy?
Government agencies constantly warn us of the dangers of drinking from the public water supplies, particularly for those with weak health; the news is full of articles about toxic contaminants in the water supply, ranging from prescription medications to jet fuel.
And while those fancy filters you see on TV for four easy payments of 29.95 sound nice, in practice they just don't do enough. It is not possible to pack enough filtering power into a faucet head filter to last more than a few days of filtering out poisons, much less the months they recommend.
Of course you can buy bottled water... which is more than TWICE as expensive as gasoline if bought in those 16 ounce bottles! (1 gallon = 128 ounces / 16 oz. bottles @ .99 = $7.92 a gallon!) - and often bottled water comes from the same source as your tap water, and in some cases has even MORE contaminants than what comes from your kitchen sink!
...Not to mention the contamination to the environment caused by piles of used bottles in landfills which won't break down for centuries. And yet you should drink water, lots of it - eight glasses a day is a good minimum, according to the articles you'll read on this page.

WATER IONIZERS
If there is a single thing you can do to improve your wellness, we believe it is a water ionizer. Not just because it so powerful, but because it is something you always do. Pills, herbs, diets - we do these for a while and as soon as we can find a good excuse to quit we go back to our usual lifestyle. But throughout all of this you're drinking water!
You never stop drinking water, and changing the quality of the water you drink - water, which makes up over 60% of your body, depending on your age - can have a tremendous impact ony our health according to many researchers. The water ionizers on this website do three things to water:
MICRO-CLUSTERING
Most people know that water is H20. What most people do not know is that water is not usually found in that "pure" molecular state, but bonded into clumps of H20 that have perhaps 20 or 50 or more molecules bound together in what you might call a macro-water molecule. The problem is, macro-water cannot be absorbed very easily by the cell, because it is 20 or 50 times the size of the water the cell was intended to use. So you might be drinking, but not actually ABSORBING most of the water you drink merely because the water molecules are too big!
These ionizers, through a process of electrolysis break down the water into smaller clusters to make it easier to absorb, in effect making water "wetter" and more hydrating to the cell.
IONIZING
The next thing these machines do is take the water and ionize it. That means they break off electrons from some atoms so they can be given to other atoms. Free radicals are atoms, usually oxygen atoms, that are missing an electron or more - so they are "hungry". This means they will scavenge electrons from other substances, a process called oxidation, binding up these substances so your body can't use them. Free radicals have been linked to everything from premature aging to cancer.
The opposite type of atom, one with an extra electron, or a free electron by itself, is called an antioxidant. This is usually an oxygen atom with an extra electron which can be donated to the hungry oxygen atom. When the electron exchange happens, the result is two stable oxygen atoms which are not only rendered harmless, but are actually turned into useful oxygen for the body!
The ionized water has a high concentration of these free electrons which can be donated to satisfy these free radicals and neutral. This can be measured with fairly affordable testers and is called ORP - Oxidation Reduction Potential. If the number is positive, it means it contains many free radicals; if it has negative, it means it contains many antioxidants.
You can see this in action from these machines by waiting an hour or two after you fill up your glass with water, and watching bubbles form and bond to the wall of the glass like a carbonated drink; except instead of having a waste product (CO2) dissolved in the water, it has valuable oxygen dissolved!
You can test your own water for yourself, but typical tap water has an ORP of +200 to +400, meaning it contains a high concentration of free radicals. With these ionizers it's possible to go even below -400 ORP, to not only stop taking in free radicals through your water but fight the ones that you already have!
ALKALINIZED WATER
And last, but not least, these machines alkalinize the water. All substances are either Alkaline or Acid, measured in what's called pH. If it has a pH below 7, it is acid. If it is above 7, it is alkaline, and if it is exactly 7 it's neutral.
The body needs to keep a slightly alkaline pH. The bloodstream absolutely MUST maintain a pH between 7.35 and 7.45; if necessary, the body will pull minerals out of the bones to maintain the proper pH, according to Wiki, article "Blood"
Bones are especially affected by blood pH as they tend to be used as a mineral source for pH buffering. Consuming a high ratio of animal protein to vegetable protein is implicated in bone loss in women"
Unfortunately, the typical American diet is highly acidic, very low in alkaline minerals. Meats are acidic, as is most dairy and most beverages. Coca Cola can have a pH of as low as 2.5! How low is 2.5? Well, the pH is a logarithmic scale; that means each pH number below 7 is TEN TIMES more acid than the one above it; two numbers is 100 times more acid! Three is a thousand times more acid! And so on. So a pH of 3 is 1,000 times more acidic than a pH of 6. 10,000 times more acidic than a pH of seven.
This means that to counteract that acidity - to buffer it, is the proper term - your body has to provide something that is equal to the level of acidity, which would be a pH of 11.5, to neutralize it (all things being equal).
And since most people's diet is heavily acidic, alkaline minerals are hard to find; and that's the most important part of this water system, is that it takes the impurities in your water and separates them into two streams, an acid and an alkaline stream; and by drinking the alkaline water, you are constantly helping your body to buffer the acids in your diet by taking in alkalinity every time you drink!
You can also reduce chemicals on vegetable and fruits by rinsing them with alkaline water! Ionized alkaline water improves the taste and quality of fruits and vegetables because it is able to hydrate and neutralize them. Our alkaline water can also reduce the acidic and chemical/pesticides levels in your food. By using strong alkaline water (ph 10+) to wash your produce, insecticides can be removed and the vegetables will gain a high ORP by absorbing electrons - this is the state vegetation is in when it is freshly picked, or still on the vine.
ACID WATER
Another important benefit of these machines is acidic water. Normally, the acid water goes down the drain, but it also has many uses in cleaning, disinfecting, and skin care when used externally. These ionizers help remove fluoride from water supplies by sending fluoride into the acid stream, since like most poisons, fluoride is acidic.
However, even this acid waste can have great value; there are many products sold that claim to exfoliate and reduce wrinkles and tighten skin. These products not only cost a lot, they usually don't produce results and leave harmful chemical residue. Many people don't know that the skin is naturally an acid organ. By using acidic water to wash your face and body, your skin will look younger and feel great without harmful side-effects. It also soothes skin and clears up excess bacteria, keeping the skin clear of acne and other blemishes. It will make your hair silky and smooth when used as a conditioner as well. Not only is acidic water great for cosmetic purposes, it has many other uses.
